Descriptions and Responsabilities:
- Receive, orient, and assist practice members and visitors.
- Check in/out all the practice members.
- Proper phone etiquette while receiving and channel all phone calls.
- Be able to perform recall activation calls, verify email, voicemail, chat, fax on a daily basis and take action when necessary.
- Verify insurance benefits and authorizations. Maintain proper organization of all insurances forms for health insurances patients and profiles up to date on our EHR system.
- Able to maintain detailed organization and track of referrals made by providers.
- Prepare and keep up to date reports, weekly payments, product sales, appointment stats, etc.
- Keep the doctors, practice manager and office manager informed of any new information gave by the PI practice members.
- Collect deductible, co-pay, and supplements payments.
- Maintain healthy and pleasurable office morale
Office Assistant Requirements:

- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be independent and willing to work under minimal supervision
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and excel.
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize new tasks as they come in
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Well-groomed, professional appearance.
- Able to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
