Descriptions and Responsibilities:
- Be able to perform an exhaustive physical Chiropractic examination. Including Initial Exam and Re-Exam
- Evaluate medical history, be able to make appropriate referral when medically necessary (i.e., X-Rays, MRI, Ortho, Neuro, PCP, Pain Management) and proper medical diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
- Maintain accurate, legible and timely notes history of patients.
- Perform chiropractic manual adjustments to the spine or other articulations of the body in order to correct neuromusculoskeletal issues, where necessary. Recommend proper rehabilitative treatment, therapies and modalities.
- Techniques preferred Activator, Thompson, SOT, techniques required Diversified. This is an all-in-one practice that manages, Pediatrics, Prenatal, Geriatrics, Personal Injury, Sports injuries and all other extremities complaints.
- Educate patients on the quality-of-life benefits of routine chiropractic care. Provide a recommended treatment plan. Able to provide patient education as to their diagnosis, treatment plan options, pre and post treatment care, lifestyle modifications, home prescribed stretches and exercises.
- Patient follow up to ensure treatment goals are being met- reassessments
- Build positive relationship between patients-doctor-office staff.
- Work cooperatively with team, chiropractic assistants, and other support staff for comprehensive patient care.
- Spanish bilingual is preferred.
- Must have a valid Florida Chiropractic license.
- Recent graduates are welcome to apply. Full training will be provided.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to build trusting relationships with practice members
- Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle the practice member load
- Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish, and the ability to work as part of a close-knit team
- Must be in good physical condition and have the dexterity and strength to perform adjustments and manipulations on practice members
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Location: Jacksonville, Florida
- License: Chiropractic Physician OR a CCPA close to board completion may be considered if the right fit!
